Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Melpi (the “App”), provided by ENALEA LLC (the “Operator”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

The App provides a camera with composition guides and a live-shooting feature that connects two devices so the photographer and subject can share photos in real time. Features may be added or changed without notice.

2. Accounts

Some features require Sign in with Apple. Your account is for your personal use only. You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app.

3. Subscription (Melpi Pro)

  • Melpi Pro offers monthly and annual auto-renewing plans. Free includes up to 30 live-session photos per month between two iPhones; Pro makes live shooting unlimited and adds Pro composition guides and logo-free saving. Eligible first-time subscribers receive a three-day free trial; the selected App Store plan price is charged when it ends.
  • Payment is processed through the Apple App Store. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancel anytime from iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds follow Apple’s policies.

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • Violating laws or public order
  • Infringing others’ rights (portrait rights, copyright, privacy). Do not photograph or share images of people without their consent
  • Interfering with the App’s operation, reverse engineering, etc.

5. External Services

The App uses third-party services—including Apple, Cloudflare, and Google Firebase (including Google Analytics)—for authentication, payments, infrastructure, and usage analytics. Each provider’s applicable terms govern its services. The information processed and its purposes are described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is.” Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for undelivered or lost photos due to network conditions, or for damages arising from use of the App.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the operator’s location.
